Parish Church spells out what’s needed
The church is putting the emphasis squarely on tins, as these are the most immediately useful way of getting supplies to those who need them most.
They’re not seeking exotic or fancy food, but staples which will be of use to any hard-pressed family in need of a decent meal.

Anyone wishing to donate items can use the box in the church vestibule, and items can also be left when the congregation worships at the Forge in Balloch.
Other churches and organisations – and generous individuals – are also helping the ongoing effort, while anyone wishing to make a donation direct can do so at Cornerstone House in the town centre.
