Animal ban for man who kicked dog which ate his carpet
Ronnie Blades (36) was spotted booting the terrier outside his home in Agate Terrace, Bellshill, in October 2014.
At Hamilton Sheriff Court he was also ordered to do 160 hours of unpaid community work.

Hide AdBlades had admitted the charge last year, but sentence was deferred for various reasons.
The court heard he returned home after a night working away to find his pet had chewed up £400 worth of carpet and vinyl flooring.
Police were alerted after he was seen kicking the dog outside.
Blades admitted he lost his temper when he saw the damage to the floor coverings which had only just been fitted.
He said: “I took the dog downstairs to let him out. I did kick him, but it wasn’t hard.”
