Hide AdKatrina, who is an administrative assistant at Stirling University, originally hails from Norfolk but has grown to love Cumbernauld.
She said “I actually feel like I am on a bit of a mission to get Cumbernauld’s beautiful side recognised. I admit that I wasn’t the town’s biggest fan especially coming from the countryside, but on exploring myself and finding all its beautiful nature reserves and greenspaces I have been totally converted.
“That’s why I am eager to do so much more to raise the profile and nurture the respect it deserves from further afield,” she said.
