Hand grenade found in Friarsdene, Lanark
The grenade was found at the back of a garage.
Police set up a road block and taped off the area until the bomb disposal experts arrived from Edinburgh.
“It was a real grenade and the bomb disposal team, after searching the garage in case there were any more grenades lying about, took it away to dispose of it,” said a neighbour.
