On the charity run in memory of Lauren
The seven-strong team — Suzanne Fordyce, Morag Donaldson, Trisha Courtney, Stuart Ferguson, Shelley Thorn, Jane Walker and Kirin Kaur — tackled the Great Scottish Run in Glasgow on Sunday in aid of the Lauren Currie Twilight Foundation.
The charity was established by the Currie family in 2010 following the death of 15-year-old Lauren, from a rare disease called vasculitis.

King’s Park primary’s Geraldine Smith told The Extra: “Lauren was a former pupil, so the charity is close to the hearts of the staff and pupils.
“An incredible £2,000 has been raised so far through sponsorship, and a dress as you please day at the school on Friday.”
The team are still accepting donations at www.justgiving.com/suzanne-fordyce.
